Presentation of Gerard Lebik’s work at Espacio Reflex, a resident artist with the Wroclaw_Donosti 2016 exchange. He will be carrying out a sound research project at Peine del Viento.
Gerard Lebik – Sound artist, musician living in Wrocalw/Poland. He works with experimental music, improvisation and intermedia. He is the author behind sound installations and sound actions in public spaces. He creates music and sound, in addition to improvisation, musical notation by directly handling the sound material, using acoustic, electronic and electroacoustic resources. He explores the field of auditory phenomena through several different techniques and instruments: saxophones, Zopan wave generators, air compressors, VHS players, video objects, electronica, analogical video feedback, software. He graduated from the Wroclaw Academy of Music in 2007.
