TITLE: “Mise en scène de la scène: O situar la escena en el centro de la misma (Placing the scene at the centre thereof)”
CONCEPT: The residence that the artist will be developing over the course of a week at the Espacio Réflex’s concept is: –by inhabiting, reflecting and using the space—to reconsider it, to create other uses, to dialogue with it by means of transformation over the course of different days. It is defined as a laboratory where the concept, construction and mise en scène dialogue between the artist’s workshop-space and exhibition space. Inhabiting, participating, reflecting, transforming, playing, questioning, experiencing, activating: space, objects, uses, situations, relations. By means of participation, the concept intends to activate action and play, questioning aspects such as design, the concept and uses, indicating spaces, playing with elements, activating unused materials and dialoguing about/with the space and users. From everyday experience to a critical nature. This exhibition is proposed as a game where the artist (intruder) activates different elements already pre-existing in the space to create new interpretations, views, experiences and relations with what already exists. This is an ad hoc participation proposal for Donosti’s Espacio Réflex.

24 April / 19h – Introduction of the residence and work of the artist at Pecha Kucha Night, at CC Okendo.
24 to 30 April /Artist in residence, intimate time to carry out the project. There will be guests forming part of the residence.
30 April / 19h – Sample of the work carried out during the residence in exhibition format.
