On February 14 and 15, in San Sebastián, Dantzagunea organises the II Sortutakoak Dance Festival of dance works to have received support from this Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa service throughout 2013. On Friday 14, we will screen the film on the subject of dance by Xabier Iriondo, “HOMING”, produced by Filmotive. This film narrates the voyage of a young girl raised by a pack of wolves from life in the wild to life in society, her contacts with the different people she meets along the way and the effect they will have on her behaviour. (Espacio Reflex, Calle Egia, 24-bis. 20:00).
On Saturday 15 at the Gazteszena venue we will present the book “Pasos por Sortutakoak”, take a look at the projects selected at these Dantzagunea artist residencies, and announce the two projects selected in this fifth call for proposals. In addition, Mikel Sarriegi will present the Aurtzaka Taldea video, “Sanjoanetako neskatxen esku-dantza Beasainen”. This will be followed by three contemporary dance pieces from the Sortutakoak residencies: ON by Enertiz Zeberio, HOOKED (STILL) by Lasala, and THIS LINE IS MY PATH, by the Senegalese creator Alioune Diagne.
